|Our first belief should be that we are created in God’s image. It doesn’t matter if you are a Christian or not. To become full of power, full of life, and to do all that you have been called to do, you have to embrace the understanding that you are made in God’s image. He loves you and you are His child. This image isn’t just your physical body, but also what’s happening on the inside. It can be said that we are born for greatness. We all can believe that our lives were destined to be great, to be meaningful, to make a difference, to leave the world in a better place than we found it. That good desire comes from the Lord and I hope you grab hold of this for a great future. Churches and communities should nurture this kind of spirit. The bible states in Hebrews 12:1: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Notice the word “great;” these are great people who have gone before us.
Friend, God calls you to greatness as well! The exciting thing about this is that we get to join people we know well, such as our family members, friends, ancestors, and even people we don’t know, but they know us. Even now, they’re watching you from Heaven, can you believe it? They’re cheering you on and saying, “Go, go, go!” You may have lost someone you love, but I want you to know they are cheering you on. Believe that you were born for greatness and strive to be the best!
