“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” -Galatians 6:9

I want to see the real you. God wants to see the real you because the real you is worth seeing. The real you is lovely. If people can’t see it, forget about them. They have a lot of shame, too, or else they wouldn’t need to judge you. That’s the truth — the Gospel truth. In fact, the more grace we receive in our own imperfections, the better we become at giving grace to those who hurt us or become vulnerable and messy around us, and that is a good word.

PRAYER: Thank you, God, for accepting the real me. Thank you for the people in my life who love the real me.

REFLECTION: How can you move towards being the real you, every day?
