“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
– Zephaniah 3:17
![]() We truly are loved by God. If we can believe that, we inherit a sort of soul armor: a resilience to the pains and sufferings of living. When we mess up, some people won’t forgive us, some people won’t let it go, some people will disrespect us, but we have a God in heaven and on earth who loves us, always will love us. No one in the universe loves us in the same way or to the same degree that He does. We say this during the Creed of the Beloved every week, and it’s true. And when we believe it, it changes our soul. |
Prayer
Thank you, God, for loving me so well. Your love enables me to endure the pain and suffering that comes with this life.
Reflection
Have you put on your soul armor that comes from God’s love?
