I often say this: you don’t have just one calling in God’s kingdom—you have several, and these callings intertwine and build upon each other. David couldn’t have become king of Israel without first being a dedicated shepherd and learning to fight a bear. As you walk through the open doors God provides, you’ll see how He prepares you for each step in your journey. As you commit to your callings, I want to give you an opportunity to get right with God and fully trust your life to Him. You can decide today to invite Christ into your heart.

Perhaps today you are wondering, “Why am I doing these small things that seem insignificant?” Yet you sense God is calling you to them. Remember, God sees your actions—He sees you caring for others, planting seeds, doing the work, and remaining faithful. My prayer is that God increases your faith today, expands what’s possible in your life, helps you recognize open doors, and gives you the courage to pursue your callings with boldness.
