Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

James 5:16

Sometimes you see vulnerable people who are almost too vulnerable, yet, they are the easiest to treat and to heal. It’s the people who hide and pretend like nothing’s wrong that only look a little pale on the outside. Yet, on the inside, they’re dying. And the way to heal is to take those wounds, take your fears, take your anxieties, take your burdens, take your sins, and take all your regrets to a close friend and to God, and just say, This is me. Then, watch as you’re healed.

Prayer

God, heal me. Give me the strength to express my shortcomings because when I am weak, then I am strong in you. I am expertly created by you. Help me see the way that you see me.

Reflection

Have you felt yourself be healed after being vulnerable with a friend?
