Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
“Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. – Matthew 14:25-32
You have done great things in your life, even if you don’t think you have. But you’re going to do even greater things. It doesn’t matter how sick you are, how old you are, how young you are, how uneducated you are… all of the things that you’ve used to discredit yourself. You may have failed miserably in some area of your life. Just because you’ve failed doesn’t mean you’re a failure, it just means you haven’t succeeded yet.
It’s going to be okay. Have faith and believe that God can still do great things in your life.Become the kind of person that lives in faith, that never quits, and never gives up. God is calling you to do great things for him, so be vulnerable, take a risk, and be the kind of person that God has called you to be.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank you for using me to do great things for you. Please help me to have faith in your will and to recognize what you are doing in my life. Amen.

I thank you for for your words of encouragement. You have rekindled my hope that I can still become successful in life. I am successful spiritually but I also material success so that my mockers can be silenced.
