“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…” -1 Peter 3:15

A very good way to share your faith is to tell your story.

You may have been a Christian your whole life, so you think, “I don’t have a story. John has this story of drug addiction, going to jail, and then coming to Jesus. But I don’t have a story like that.” Most of us don’t have that story. But, if you do, that’s awesome.

Telling your story about how God has worked in your life will activate people to say, “I want that.” And when they do, pray with them, and their lives will be changed.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I will share my story with others so that they might see your blessing in my life and, thereby, want that same blessing in theirs. Amen.

  1. My husband and our 5 daughters lived in California in the mid 60’s. Or Monday evening while in a serious discussion, the tv was on and the Hour of Power was on. Because of that evening and hearing Dr Schullers message we both knelt and accepted Christ. The next Sunday we drove to Garden Grove and there standing in the garden before reaching the Church stood Dr Schuller to welcome us! Since that time our family has grown not just physically but also spiritually. All 5 daughters and their husbands are committed Christians. Blessing upon Blessing because God led us to Himself through Dr Schullers faithfulness to share the Gospel. Time has passed and now my husband is home bound but we now worship with you at Shepherds Grove and consider it our home. No coincidence that we are blessed to be privileged to call Bobby Schuller our Pastor!! Blessings to Hannah and Bobby! Thank you so much for your ministry!
