“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.”
– Ephesians 4:25
![]() Maybe you have a lot of friends but you feel lonely. Or you have people surrounding you, but you still feel isolated. It’s because you’re lacking bonds with people, and God’s going to bring that to an end today. He’s going to teach you to stop bullying yourself and believing that you’re not worthy of love and belonging. Instead, start reaching out to people. It may seem weak, but it’s not. When you’re vulnerable and honest, you’re strong. So we know that God loves us, not only when we feel it on the mountaintop, but when we feel it through another person. We feel His love when someone throws their arms around our neck when we’re going through a trial. When another believer holds us and gives us a big hug, the Lord is doing that, too. We feel it and we know it. And when we have that, we can endure just about anything. |
Prayer
Give me the strength, God, to be honest, and vulnerable. Help me show and receive love from others.
Reflection
How can you be vulnerable with your loved ones today?
